City of Vaughan - Age-Friendly Community Action Plan

 

The City of Vaughan has been working on creating an Age-Friendly Community Action Plan. Please join us for an interactive community workshop to continue our planning!

Time: 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

 

The purpose of this workshop is to share our key learnings to date and to continue to engage the community in defining a Vaughan age-friendly community. This workshop will include a presentation of key findings from the current state analysis and key messages we are hearing from various community engagement activities. The workshop will also include an interactive discussion on age-friendly ideas and strategies for the future.

Monthly Lecture Series - Reflecting on Racism & Discrimination


 

Vaughan Public Libraries is hosting a monthly lecture series Reflecting On Racism and Discrimination. All trustees and educators are invited to attend this community event.  On Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 7:00 pm Dr. Carl James, Professor, Jean Augustine Chair in Education, Community & Diaspora, York University will speak about The Educational and Social Costs of Life in the Suburbs for Black Youth.
