Welcome back to CPS for 2022 and Happy New Year to our community members who celebrate and recognize it. Although 2022 has begun with virtual learning, we hope that our school closure, as mandated by the Ministry of Education, will be brief so all of our students can engage with in person learning once again.
In the meantime, please support your child (ren) in whatever way possible in our virtual learning opportunities. Staff will follow the regular timetable with school beginning at 8:25 am and ending at 3:05 pm. Recess break will continue to be at 10:15-10:45 and lunch at 12:25 -1:25. Please support your child (ren) in being on time for attendance purposes and acknowledge via Edsby if they are absent for any reason. We will be doing our best to support the continuity of learning during this time.
In anticipation of our return to in person learning on Monday January 17, York Region Public Health is requiring the use of masks for all Kindergarten students attending York Region schools. All students in Kindergarten to Grade 12 will be required to wear masks. Also please ensure your child (ren) have completed the online screening tool and complete the YRDSB COVID Self-Screening Confirmation.
